This weekend, Gun Owners of America (GOA) will hold its first-ever GOALS event at the Knoxville Convention Center in Tennessee.
“It is our privilege to host GOA’s first convention GOALS. This family friendly event is dedicated to members who make it happen,” said GOA Director of Development and Marketing Kailey Nieman. “From guns and gear to incredible speakers there is something for everyone.”
The event kicks off Saturday morning and runs through Sunday evening. It is free for all GOA members and their families. Non-GOA members can purchase a membership at the door to gain entry. Inside, the crowds will be greeted by an opening ceremony that starts at 9 AM on the main stage. After the opening ceremony, gun owners will be able to attend multiple talks and classes by nationally known speakers.
After the opening ceremony, Kash Patel will kick off the talks on the main stage. Other speakers include Mayor of Knox County Glenn Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs is better known as Kane and wrestled for many years in the WWE as the Undertaker’s brother. Other speakers include Jim Justice, Michael Cargill, Brandon Herrera, and John Lovell. All will be addressing different topics that are in the interest of the gun owner.
There also will be a panel discussion on Second Amendment issues. These issues range from competitive shooting, gun rights are women’s rights, and the Second Amendment in the digital age. There will be a panel for almost every topic facing the Second Amendment community. It is a good way of learning about what dangers gun owners are facing in an ever-changing political landscape.
There will also be classes on many different topics. These topics range from “stop the bleed” to activism training. These classes can run for a few hundred dollars outside the event, but GOA members will be able to attend these classes for free. It is an opportunity everyone should take advantage of, and even if you are not a GOA member, these classes are worth the price of admission.
Many vendors will be onsite showing their wares. Several companies will unveil new products on the main stage throughout the conference. Companies will be directly selling their products to consumers onsite with incredible discounts. Companies such as Henry, Brownell’s, and Gideon Optics will have booths onsite. Gun owners will be able to check out the latest technology and bring it home if they so choose.

There will also be plenty of entertainment at GOALS. For the kids, there will be a kids’ area. Unlike many other events in the gun space, GOALS is family-friendly. From the oldest to the youngest, there is something for everyone. YouTube star Johnny B will also be doing a live Spicy Friday. Spicy Friday is a popular show on YouTube that reviews the week’s hottest gun memes. It will be sure to crack everyone up. That event will be held at The Amphitheater this Friday. Famous country music star Easton Corban will hold a free concert Saturday night for GOA members at the World’s Fair Park.
There will be over 1200 media members and creators attending the convention. No matter who your favorite creator is, chances are they will be in attendance at GOALS. Some will also be signing books for fans. It is an excellent opportunity to meet and talk with your favorite media personalities. It should be a fun time for all.
The best part about GOALS is that it will NOT be a gun-free zone. GOA members can and are encouraged to carry a concealed handgun. Many other events like this end up being gun-free. GOA chose Knoxville because they were able to reach an agreement to allow concealed carrying of firearms in the Convention Center.
This event is the first-ever GOA GOALS event, but it will not be the last. More Information, including a complete schedule, can be found on the GOALS website.
