NRA-ILA-Hawaii
Hawaii will hear a new self-defense bill later today. IMG NRA-ILA

U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- Today at 2:00PM, the House Committee on Judiciary & Hawaiian Affairs will hear House Bill 2464, to improve the ability of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves and their loved ones. Please consider submitting testimony in favor of HB 2464 through the Hawaii Legislative website. For help creating an account and submitting testimony, click here.

House Bill 2464 empowers law-abiding citizens to defend themselves and their loved ones by repealing the requirement in state law that citizens must retreat, relinquish property, or comply with the demands of assailants before defending with deadly force. The law should not force citizens to accede to the demands of violent criminals and accept becoming victims of crimes.

Again, please consider submitting testimony in favor of HB 2464.
