2024 Attempt at Colorado Assault Weapons Ban Is Dead! ~ VIDEO

With less than 72 hours left in the Colorado legislative session, today Senate Democrats announced they would be shelving HB24-1292, the so-called “Assault Weapons” ban!

Senate bill sponsor Julie Gonzales of Denver said: “After thoughtful conversations with my Senate colleagues, I decided that more conversations need to take place outside of the pressure cooker of the Capitol during the last weeks of the legislative session.”

I want to make it abundantly clear that this is happening because of YOU. People like YOU and me refuse to stop. We refuse to stop fighting for this very important Constitutional right.

This bill will be back next year, and we’ll be here to fight it.

They also did not hear any of the other gun bills today, meaning they only have 48 hours left to pass four gun bills that are still in the process! These pending bills are liability insurance requirement, firearm and ammo excise tax, and firearm retailer and permitting and licensing.

Even the vehicle storage bill is tied up in battling conference committees where Democrats can’t agree with Democrats.
